About God’s Business: Does It Matter From Who We Receive Money and Who We Support? Part 2

April ends the tax season, and this is the time of year that I begin to think about the things I need to do to prepare for the rest of the year. I will start with reviewing the people I would like to work with going forward. How we select the people we work with is essential to God.

I will ask God to send me people. But it is my responsibility to steward my Kingdom resources #HolySpiritLed. Those who oppose God will also send people or forces to stop God’s plans for your business and you. Although, God has good plans for us those opposing forces do not!

Ephesians 6:10-18 New International Version (NIV)

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

I began this journey after I realized dark forces are sneaky, manipulative, pushy, deceptive, dishonest, greedy, cheats, and they play dirty of course because they are dark forces. You may say that’s people. Ephesians 6 states that we are at work against dark spirits and not people. That means people can have a good heart and good intentions, but the flesh (our own desires), spiritual forces, generational deceptions and curses will cause things to happen that no one intended. (Romans 7:18-22 NIV)

In this podcast, I cover the story of Balaam and Balak (Numbers Chapters 22-26). I find this story to be interesting as God showed me that people or dark forces could not curse people God has not cursed but if we step out of God’s will and sin, we curse ourselves.  Then we open the door for dark forces to come in and curse us as well. I decided I wanted to get the root of this particular problem in my life and business.

Does it matter how we earn our money? Does it matter the type of services or products we offer? Does it matter who we invest in with our money resources? Although money is not evil, it is used for evil purposes. Are we to support those purposes?
